Foo Fighters - “Today’s Song”…The Foos dropped a new song to celebrate their 30th anniversary…first new song in nearly two years…the band parted ways with Josh Freese, who took over on drums following Hawkins’ death, back in May of this year…A press release for “Today’s Song” does not specify who is playing drums on the new single. (Matt Cameron just left Pearl Jam, could there be a drummer-switch-a-roo happening? You heard it here, first! Just trying to start a rumor. lol)
For this new song, the Foo Fighters lineup has otherwise remained unchanged, with Grohl on lead vocals and guitar, Nate Mendel on bass, Pat Smear on guitar, Chris Shiflett on guitar and backing vocals, and Rami Jaffee on keyboards.

Caamp - "Mistakes”…another new track off the Columbus, OH band’s album Copper Changes Color (came out 6/6)…

Girl Tones - "Blame"…two sisters Kenzie and Laila from Bowling Green, KY...they are playing Lollapalooza this year...touring for July / August with Silversun Pickups...

Counting Crows - "With Love, From A-Z"…another track off of Butter Miracle, The Complete Sweets!...they play YouTube Theatre 8/12.

Boo Boos - "C'mon Baby"…E from Eels (who also goes by Bronco Boo) formed a new band with Kate Mattison from the Brooklyn band 79.5...from their debut album Young Love (out 9/19)…

thebandfriday "What's It Gonna Take"…another track from the LA brothers…they are opening a sold-out show for Kevian Kraemer at the Morrocan Lounge on 7/21. They are hoping to book a show to launch their EP Homecoming (coming out on Capitol Records) in early August….
